Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead project teams from hand-off to close-out, directing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance. The role ensures quality and regulatory adherence while coordinating with estimating, field ops, and finance to deliver successful projects.

You will drive profitability, manage contracts and change orders, and mentor PE’s/APM’s within a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This position travels to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, or equivalent in training and experience.
• At least five years of relatable construction experience.
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up and close-out meetings, ensuring lessons learned are documented.
• Develop, maintain, and cascade project budgets and weekly cost tracking.
• Ensure timely processing of A/R and A/P in collaboration with finance.
• Collaborate with field operations to achieve project profitability and schedule.
• Manage prime contracts and change orders with approved authorizations.
• Coach and develop junior engineers and project staff; provide training.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
