Beaver Dam Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting in Beaver Dam, WI. You will join a close-knit caregiving team that prioritizes dignity, respect, and compassionate interaction with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and interact professionally.
• Knowledge of resident rights and safe, respectful care.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality nursing care in a respectful environment promoting resident rights and individuality.
• Offer individualized attention to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Adhere to individualized care plans and coordinate with charge nurse and care planning staff.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity; interact with warmth and compassion.
• Report any incidents or abuse and uphold resident rights; escalate to appropriate staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report equipment issues promptly.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report promptly to licensed staff.
• Record care provided and complete CNAs documentation per policy.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures; proper hand hygiene and PPE usage.
