Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week assignment in Fort Bragg, CA. This hospital lab role offers 40 hours per week across day and swing openings with on-call rotations.

The position requires CA state licensure, ASCP/NCA certification preferred, and at least 1 year of CLS generalist experience across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, and Immunology/Serology. Travel package included.

Qualifications

• Active CA State License required to be eligible to apply.
• 1+ year experience as a CLS.
• Generalist CLS with Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Immunology/Serology experience.
• Prior Blood Bank experience is a plus.
• Epic Beaker LIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CLS testing in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting.
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with day or swing openings; on-call weekly.
• Ensure accurate test reporting, quality control, and instrument maintenance.

Schedule:

• Opening 1: Day shift, 4x10s, variable start time around 6am
  • On-call once per week (3:30a-5:30a)
• Opening 2: Swing Shift, 4x10s
  • On-call once per week (3:30a-5:30a)

Requirements

• National Cert (ASCP or NCA)
• Must have Active CA State License to be eligible to apply!
• 1+ yr experience as a CLS
• Generalist experience
  • Hemetology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Immunology/Serology
  • Prior experience in blood bank is a plus!
