Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) seeks a travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The position requires 2 years of CL lab experience and ASCP/NCA/AMT certification, plus CPR-BLS; schedule is 40 hours per week with nights.

The CLS will examine and analyze blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells, report results to physicians, and operate microscopes, cell counters and other lab equipment. Cross matches for transfusion are performed as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience required.
• ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent certification required.
• CPR-BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Agency familiarity with travel or local assignments preferred.

TRA Medical Lab Technologist

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.

TRA Clinical Lab Scientist or Medical Lab Technologist examines and analyzes blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells. Relays test results to physicians. Utilizes microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab equipment. Cross matches blood for transfusion.

Minimum Experience

• Must have 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience.

Required Certification/Licensure

• Registered with a certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent)
• CPR-Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Other credentialing items, such as a skills Checklist and health related documents, which will be specified by your Recruiter.
