Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for travel assignments. You will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed professional, assisting with personal needs and comforts of patients in various healthcare settings.

The role requires CNA certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and compliance with professional standards. Prior CNA experience is preferred, and CPR may be required. Training and support are provided on assignment.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of RN/LPN or other licensed professional
• Performs individualized patient care activities and non-professional services for patient comfort
• Maintains patient safety and dignity while delivering care
