Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our high-volume retail facilities. You will be responsible for the generation and execution of travel center and restaurant business plans to achieve established standards, sales and profit objectives as well as customer satisfaction.

The Retail Assistant Manager will also be: building, coaching, managing and developing teams from staffing, interviewing, hiring and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or service with financial responsibility.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop teams and sustain a customer-focused culture.
• Ability to work flexible nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales and achieving profit objectives for travel center and restaurant operations.
• Managing and developing teams through staffing, interviews, hiring and training.
• Conducting meetings with subordinate employees and ensuring standards are met.
• Performing P&L analysis to optimize performance.
