Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Unit position in Michigan. Active MI license and 2+ years CCU experience are required. BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary, with Cerner EMR experience preferred.

The role features night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a CCU, with 12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotations, and on-call duties during low census periods. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

Active MI RN license required at time of consideration.
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
2+ years of current CCU experience required.
Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
Prior Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a 12-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU).
Nurse to patient ratio of 4:1 or 2:1 depending on patient acuity.
Uses Cerner EMR.
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Weekend rotation required.
Holiday rotation required.
On-call required during low census periods.
Provide critical care nursing services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
