Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week CCU travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. Night shifts totaling 36 hours per week, with start date 08/17/2026.

This hospital-based CCU unit features 20 beds with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and includes fast credentialing and travel support. Expect rounding with the interdisciplinary team, direct patient care in critical care, and potential float to PCU as needed.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license required with Mass Temporary Nursing Service Agency License.
• Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years current Critical Care experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Ventilation/ICP/hemodynamic monitoring skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to CCU patients, monitor ventilation,ICP and hemodynamics, and administer medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and respond to patient condition changes.
• Float to PCU as needed and support unit needs.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation (Meditech Expanse) and ensure equipment readiness.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient/family education standards.
