HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for the CCU in Pittsfield, MA. This travel assignment runs for several weeks with a start date of 09/28/2026. The role focuses on acute cardiac and critical care in a hospital CCU setting.

You will provide direct patient care, manage ventilators and invasive monitoring, and collaborate with the care team. Housing assistance and fast credentialing support are provided, with 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license in hand required (conditional licenses accepted).
• Minimum 2 years CCU/ICU critical care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the CCU for adults with acute coronary and critical care needs.
• Perform and interpret critical care assessments, monitoring devices (ventilators, ICP monitors, hemodynamic lines).
• Manage ventilator settings, parameters, and weaning as ordered; respond to ventilator alarms.
• Monitor intracranial pressure, hemodynamics, and other invasive monitoring as applicable; document changes and escalation as needed.
• Administer medications, draw labs, monitor for adverse effects, and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care accurately in charting systems; adhere to infection control and safety protocols; respond toCode/rapid response events per hospital policy.

Requirements

• Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination plus booster required (no exemptions)
• Education: RN from an accredited program; ability to work in a CCU environment and handle high-acuity patients
