Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Topeka, KS. The role involves patient prep, equipment operation, and collaboration with physicians to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

The travel tech will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days, in an environment prioritizing patient safety and high-quality care. Requirements include ARRT/RCIS, BLS, ACLS, and a year of Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, sterile technique, and infection control during procedures.
• Document patient data, imaging, and equipment use; support inventory and safety protocols.
