Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and maintaining patient safety in a high-pressure setting.

You should have 1 year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS, ACLS, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. This travel position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing instruments and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic systems; maintain sterile technique.
• Scrub in and support sterile field setup; infection control adherence.
• Document patient data and equipment logs; ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage supplies and equipment storage; follow radiation safety protocols.
