Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will join Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Towson, MD. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and monitor hemodynamic data under physician guidance.

Responsibilities include scrub duties, sterile technique, and accurate documentation, while collaborating with a clinical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control and procedural protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs; manage supplies and inventory.

Skills

Cardiac Cath Lab experience

BLS certification

ACLS certification

ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification

Education

Radiologic Technologist license

Other state licenses/certifications may be required
