Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Kansas City, MO. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, with focus on patient prep, equipment handling, and ensuring safety.

You’ll work 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, active certifications (BLS, ACLS, ARRT/RCIS/RCES) and licensure where required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling catheters, wires, balloons and stents
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Maintain sterile technique and document procedures accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control and regulatory standards
