Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The role requires ARRT/CCI/ACLS/BLS certifications and at least 1 year of cath lab experience.

Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting with complex cardiac procedures, in a fast-paced travel setting. This travel position features 40 hours per week, dayshift, 10‑hour shifts, and benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• ARRT, CCI, ACLS, BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience in cath lab
• state licensing when required

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms and ensure instruments, sterilization, and stock are ready.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures and calibrate pressure transducers.
• Operate and monitor equipment in the cardiac cath lab and scrub in during procedures.
• Assist physician with catheter maneuvering and documentation of hemodynamic data.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures and participate in life-saving measures.
