MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a Peoria, IL assignment. Responsibilities include assisting in interventional cardiology procedures, maintaining patient care quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a current license and preferred 2 years in Cath Lab, in a critical care setting. Travel duties include 10-hour shifts, days, with full benefits and housing options.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains communication with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general and psychosocial needs.
• Functions under the direction and supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and obtaining catheters, wires and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care and maintains a safe environment.
