Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Abilene, TX. You will prepare patients and equipment, assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensure safety throughout the process.

The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certs. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related interventions.
• Assist physicians during procedures with catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy systems.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control.
• Document patient data, imaging, and equipment logs.
• Assist with stock and supply management; ensure safe handling of meds.
