Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Frederick, MD is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role involves assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization, scrubbing, monitoring, and data collection, with 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), CCI RCIS preferred, and state licensing as needed. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and be able to stand and walk for long periods; travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), CCI (RCIS) preferred and state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with stock and sterilized instruments.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Operate and QC cardiology lab equipment and assist as needed.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic data using appropriate amplifiers and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor the patient’s hemodynamics and participate in resuscitation if needed.
