Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This travel role involves 40 hours per week with 10-hour days, scrubbing, monitoring and assisting in advanced cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience and required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) with state licensing as needed. Job ID #1539519. Travel pay package subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab preferred
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R)-CI or CCI-RCIS certification preferred
• State licensing as required

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms with stock and sterilization where applicable.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures and calibrate transducers and tubing.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment in the cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvering.
• Record hemodynamic, electrical and angiographic data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures as needed.
