Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience and certifications (BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS) with state licensing as required.

Expect 40 hours per week on a 10-hour shift, days, in a travel capacity. The Cath Lab Technologist will scrub in, prepare rooms and equipment, operate lab systems, and monitor hemodynamics during interventional cardiac procedures, with the potential for

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification, and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and sterilization.
• Preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including draping and calibrating equipment.
• Operating and ensuring quality control of all equipment used in the cath lab.
• Recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data with appropriate equipment.
• Monitoring the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures and assisting in CPR if needed.
