Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel job in Boston, Massachusetts. The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, scrubbing and monitoring, with the goal of patient safety and successful outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R)‑CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS, and applicable state licensing. Travel-friendly benefits and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R)‑CI preferred; CCI‑RCIS may be required.
• State licensing as required.
• ARRT/CCI/ACLS/BLS certifications listed as prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms with adequate stock and sterilization.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Operate and quality control all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvering.
• Acquire and record hemodynamic and imaging data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures in the cath lab.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
