Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Newnan, GA. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, with a 40-hour work week and 10-hour day shifts.

Candidates should have ARRT and BLS/ACLS credentials; RCIS is preferred. Travel experience and state licensing as required are a plus. TotalMed Allied offers benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS/ACLS/ARRT (R) or RCIS preferred.
• State license as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab rooms with stock and ensure equipment is ready.
• Set up patient and equipment for procedures; drape and prepare entry site, calibrate devices.
• Operate and ensure quality control of lab equipment used in procedures.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data using appropriate devices.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures including defibrillation and CPR.
