Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R) certification or CI-RCIS preferred, and professional licensing as needed.

Expect 40 hours weekly over a 13-week duration, with 10-hour rotating shifts in a travel setting. The Cath Lab Technologist will scrub, assist, and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT (R) certification preferred or CCI-RCIS.
• State licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and sterilization where applicable.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site prep and instrument setup.
• Operate and quality-control all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in catheter maneuvers.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and fluoroscopic data during procedures.
• Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status throughout the procedure.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
