Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Current state licensure for Radiologic Technologists preferred.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• 1 year of experience within the last 5 years required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty and catheterization.
• Support during open heart procedures including pacemaker or stent placements.
• Monitor EKG readouts and communicate abnormalities to the physician.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure sterile technique.
