Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Kennewick, WA. The role requires ARRT and CRT credentials, 2+ years of acute care interventional radiology experience, and the ability to travel.

Expect 40 hours per week on day shifts, with a 13-week duration and travel-friendly benefits. Candidates must hold current radiology licensure in the employed state and be prepared for 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced catheterization lab environment.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.

• Current driver’s license and ability to travel.
• BLS/ACLS may be required by some clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing instruments and supplies and maintaining a sterile field.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to obtain high-quality fluoroscopic images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any complications to the physician.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction following protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Two (2) years of recent experience required.
• State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high‑quality images.
• Assistance During Procedures: Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
• Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
• Image Evaluation and Archiving: Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
