Job summary

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky. The traveler will work 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00a–7:00p) with 48 guaranteed hours per week.

Responsibilities include assisting with catheter insertion, monitoring EKG readouts, and ensuring equipment readiness. Requires ARRT with KY license, BLS/ACLS, EKG, and Epic experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cath lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS through the AHA.
• ARRT with a Kentucky rad tech license.
• EKG certification.
• Epic experience.
• Associate degree or certificate (bachelor's preferred).
• Permanent address 75+ miles from the facility.
• COVID vaccine required with weekly PCR testing if exempt.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catheter insertion and monitor EKG readouts during procedures.
• Ensure EKG equipment is functioning prior to procedures.
• Communicate abnormalities to the physician during cases.

• Shift: Days, 12 hours (7:00a-7:00p)
• Guaranteed hours: 48/week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Call: 7-8 days per 6-week period
• Weekends: 1-2 every 6 weeks
• Holidays: As needed
• Float: To be determined

Requirements

• 2+ years of cath lab experience

The Role

You'll assist with catheter insertion, measure and administer special fluids, make sure the EKG equipment is working before procedures, and monitor EKG readouts during cases, letting the physician know about anything abnormal.
