Job summary

Voca Healthcare is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lakewood, Colorado. The position requires BLS/ACLS, RCIS or Colorado fluoroscopy license, and ARRT (R) or equivalent credentials. Expect 4 x 10-hour days with 40 hours per week.

You'll work in a Level I trauma center environment across 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and a hybrid suite, scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Floating within Zone 3 occurs only in extreme need. Travel benefits and guaranteed hours apply.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• RCIS credential or Colorado fluoroscopy license required.
• ARRT (R) certification preferred; if not, Colorado license needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and circulate in cath labs.
• Work in 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite.
• Handle 10–20 cases per day; duties include patient care and documentation.
• EMR: Epic; self-scheduling and block scheduling allowed.

Travel Cath Lab Tech - Level I Trauma Center | Lakewood, CO

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 4 x 10s
• Guaranteed hours: 40/week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Call:
  • Weeknights: 1-2 per week
  • Weekends: 2 per 6-week pay cycle
  • Holidays: Yes
  • Response time: 30 minutes
• Float: Within the department only. Floating to other Zone 3 facilities happens only in cases of extreme need.
• Cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks)

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• RCIS
• ARRT (R). If you don’t have ARRT (R), you’ll need a Colorado fluoroscopy license, which takes about a week to get.
• Strong STEMI and cardiovascular lab experience
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility (driver’s license required)
• BSN not required

The Unit

• 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite
