The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is a travel assignment with Cross Country Allied in Bemidji, MN. You will assist physicians with heart cath procedures, vascular interventions, device implantations, and EP procedures in an acute care setting using Epic charting and specialized equipment.

Requires RCIS certification, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years scrub tech experience. EP procedures are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified RCIS with CCI, CPR/BLS, ACLS required.
• Minimum 2+ years scrub tech/sterile technique experience.
• Experience with vascular, coronary and device implant procedures; EP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers and ablations.
• Monitor vitals and chart using Epic.
• Operate equipment such as MacLab, ACIST, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers and Carto.
• Floating to other units/departments may be required.

Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in the specialty area of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the facility. This role involves assisting physicians with heart catheterization procedures, vascular interventions, device implantations, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, utilizing specialized equipment within an acute care setting. The position requires a certified healthcare professional with a focus on sterile technique and cardiovascular procedures.

Job Details

• Position Description: Assisting physicians with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, monitoring vitals, and charting. Utilizing equipment such as Epic charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas, Carto.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI; CPR/BLS certification; ACLS (AHA); minimum of 2 years scrub tech/sterile technique experience; experience with vascular, coronary, device implant procedures; EP procedures experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with call 1-2 times per week, every 4th weekend, and late team responsibilities 1-2 times per week. Floating to over units/departments may be required.
• Additional Information: Sanctioned scrubs provided; details of unit-specific training and orientation discussed during the interview; charting system utilized is Epic.
