Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-volume cath lab.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide patient care during interventional procedures.
• Utilize EPIC for patient records and Merge Hemo for hemodynamic monitoring.
• Operate and coordinate with imaging equipment (Philips/GE/Siemens) and PACs.
• Complete orientation modules and EPIC training prior to start.

Job Summary

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves supporting cardiac and vascular procedures within a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The technologist will work closely with the healthcare team to provide patient care during complex interventional procedures and vascular cases.

Job Details

• Background & Qualifications: Cardiac Cath Lab experience; at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience; Cardiac Cath Tech certification; BLS; ACLS; ARRT-R or RCIS certification; and willingness to learn endograft, EVARs, TEVARS procedures if not already experienced.
• Schedule: Days shift from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM, 10 hours per shift, with a 4-week schedule cycle. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Experience & Licensing: Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience with peripheral angiogram/run-off experience required.
• Support & Equipment: Use of EMR (EPIC), hemodynamic monitoring (Merge Hemo), infusion pumps (Alaris), medication dispensing (Omnicell), Philips, GE, and Siemens X-ray equipment, Philips PACs, and related vascular support teams.
• Orientation & Training: One-week facility orientation plus two days of departmental modules. EPIC testing and modules required prior to start.
• Additional Information: Flexibility in holiday coverage, on-call rotations for vascular and cardiac cases, and participation in weekend rotations as scheduled. The unit culture is described as excellent, and parking is provided free of charge. Scrub color is green.
