Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms and ensure proper equipment functioning.
• Assist physicians during procedures with catheter manipulation.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physicians with catheter manipulation.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.

• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Maintain physical stamina: stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop as required.

Job Overview

Position: Travel Cath Lab Technologist (Allied Health Professional)
Location: Charleston, WV
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (10‑hour days)
Shift: 10‑hour days

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring proper stock and functioning of all equipment, including instrument sterilization when applicable.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures: site of entry, patient draping, arrangement of sterilized instruments and catheters, calibration and set‑up of pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operate and maintain quality control of all cardiac cath lab equipment, with comprehensive knowledge of related instruments.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physicians with catheter manipulation.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Maintain physical stamina: stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop as required.

Requirements

Compensation
