TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts and travel employment.

The Cath Lab Rad assists during cardiac procedures, manages scrubbed procedures, and handles hemodynamic data acquisition and equipment operation. Requirements include 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or CCI-RCIS certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT(R) (R) or CCI-RCIS certification preferred; state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and stocked.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures and calibrate monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain quality control of cath lab imaging and equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic data and operate diagnostic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and participate in resuscitation if needed.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.

We're looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad) for an immediate travel opening in Charleston, SC. The right Cath Lab Rad must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Cath Lab Rads assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Scrubbing, monitoring and assisting providers as requested. As a Cath Lab Rad, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
• Preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab. Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
• Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Participating in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Cath Lab Rads should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.

Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Rad must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.

Requirements*: ARRT, BLS, CCI, ACLS, 2 Years. * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
