Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join our travel network in Gallatin, Tennessee. The role requires ARRT and CRT certification, plus two years of recent experience in interventional radiology settings. A valid state license and driver’s license are needed to travel between facilities.

Expect 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a 13-week assignment with potential travel across the country. Strong communication and calm performance in high-stress environments are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.


• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.


• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.


• Assistance During Procedures: Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.


• Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.


• Image Evaluation and Archiving: Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)


• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
