Job summary

GLC On-The-Go seeks a traveling Cath Lab Technologist to support Baltimore, MD on a 13–14 week assignment with a 40-hour week and 8-hour day shifts. This travel role offers a dynamic environment with daily involvement in cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT or RCIS, ACLS/BLS, a Maryland license, and proven experience with TAVR/PCI, pacemaker management, and sterile technique, in addition to strong patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• RCIS or ARRT certification is required.
• Active Maryland license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor and scrub during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias and maintain a sterile field.
• Conduct adult diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac stent placements, and PCI/PTCA procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as McKesson monitoring systems and Philips X-ray.

• Peripheral angiography experience is required.
  

Additional Information

• One weekend of call per month is required.
  
• Approximately 5-6 nights of call per month are required.
  
• One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract.
  
• Scrubs are provided; scrub color is dark blue.
