Unit Information

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire

General Information

The department includes:

• Three cardiac catheterization labs
• A holding area for in-patients
• A radial lounge for out-patients

Staffing includes

• A total of 7 technologist positions and 13 registered nurse positions, including the manager
• In the radial lounge, there are 5 registered nurse positions and 1 licensed nursing assistant position

Operation Hours

• Radial Lounge: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Cath Lab: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 24-hour call coverage

Scheduling and Call

Self‑scheduling is utilized for call shifts, typically requiring one day a week and one weekend per month. Call hours begin at 4:30 PM and end at 7:30 AM the following morning, with weekend call running from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday.
