The position features 40 hours per week with dayshift, typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may include float to the ER during surges. Certifications in RT, RCIS, and BLS are required or preferred, with STEMI PCI/IVUS experience advantageous.

Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Cath Lab environment and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic team setting.

Work Schedule

• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36-40 hours

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 86
• Type of Equipment: GE
• Documentation System: Expanse
• Floating Policy: May float to ER during patient surges

Patient Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience or 2 years in a high-volume lab

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including Heart Catheterizations and Pacemaker Implants
• Assist with imaging procedures as necessary
• Support STEMI PCI program and respond to emergency situations

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: RT, RCIS, BLS
• Advanced Skills: ACLS, STEMI PCI experience, IVUS experience, Balloon Pump, Penumbra
• New equipment and technology available in the unit

Dress Code

Hospital scrubs are required.

Additional Information

This unit primarily focuses on Cardiac procedures with some low-level Electrophysiology, and occasionally assists with Interventional Radiology when needed. Our staff is experienced and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient services.
