Qualifications

• Experience with left heart catheterization and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assists with left heart catheterization, right and left heart catheterization, PCI, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and vascular graft procedures.
• Provides patient monitoring during procedures using specialized equipment.
• Rotates call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure care and patient transportation.

Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Southwest Oklahoma. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, and other specialized procedures. The role includes patient monitoring, procedural assistance, pre- and post-procedure support, transportation, and rotating call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating schedule with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedures is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assists with left heart catheterization, right and left heart catheterization, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and vascular graft procedures.
  • Provides patient monitoring during procedures using specialized laser, intravascular imaging, optical coherence tomography, and coronary and peripheral atherectomy equipment.
  • Rotates call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, including approximately seven call days per month and one weekend per month.
  • Assists with pre- and post-procedure care, patient transportation, and other assigned clinical duties.
  • Supports the organizations planned expansion of transcatheter aortic valve replacement services.
