Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing - Cath Lab in Kennewick, Washington seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety.

Must have one year Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES, with licensure requirements as applicable. Travel pay includes competitive pay, benefits, and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate imaging, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
• Manage inventory, stocking and storage of sterile instruments
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
