Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in New Orleans, LA. This role is a 40-hour week with 10-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience and appropriate licensure; BLS/ACLS and ARRT (R) or RCIS certification are preferred. You will scrub, assist physicians, and manage room preparation, equipment setup, and data collection during interventional cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS preferred; state licensing as required.
• Travel assignment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments as needed.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and record data.
• Assist physicians with catheter manipulations and equipment handling.
• Monitor patient status and participate in life support measures as required.
