Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Sioux City, Iowa. The role involves scrubbing, prepping the lab, and assisting physicians during interventional cardiac procedures.

1 year of experience is preferred, with required BLS/ACLS and ARRT(R) or CCI-RCIS certifications. Hospital-care environment, 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, travel assignment of 13 weeks with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cath Lab procedures and scrubbing would be advantageous.
• Must have ARRT (R) - CI or CCI-RCIS preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab rooms with stock and sterilization where applicable.
• Prepare patient/equipment for procedures; draping and sterilization tasks.
• Operate and monitor lab equipment; assist physician during procedures as needed.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist with catheter manipulation.
• Record hemodynamic data and angiographic data during procedures.
