Job summary

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Franklin, Wisconsin. The role focuses on assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining patient safety.

Required qualifications include a cardiovascular or radiologic tech degree, BLS and ACLS, and RCIS/RT certification as applicable by state regulations. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related field.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• RCIS or RT certification preferred or required based on state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, EKG interpretation, and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab and ensure equipment sterilization.
• Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures such as angiography and PCI.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural data during procedures.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and ensure documentation per hospital policies.
• Ensure radiation safety practices per standards.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
