Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Alamogordo, NM. This 13-week contract requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a current license in good standing, appropriate Cath Lab certifications, and about two years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in a critical care setting. Travel benefits and housing options are provided.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustain a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and coworkers to address needs.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, obtaining catheters, wires and other inventory as ordered.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence with patient-focused care.
• Promote and maintain safety for staff and customers.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
