Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare the procedure room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-prevention standards
• Respond appropriately during urgent and emergent cardiac situations
• Participate in the required call and weekend rotation

Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This position will support a busy cardiac catheterization lab and requires flexibility with rotating days off, call coverage, and weekends.

Schedule and Call Requirements

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Rotating days off
• Approximately 14 days of call during each six-week period
• Every third weekend
• Must be able to respond within the facility’s required call-back timeframe

13-week Cath Lab Tech contract at Mount Carmel East in Columbus, OH. Four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with rotating days off. Approximately 14 days of call every six weeks and every third weekend. Previous Cath Lab experience and current BLS certification required. Must be comfortable scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cardiac procedures.
