Job summary

Medasource is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports a busy cardiac cath lab with four 10-hour day shifts and rotating days off.

The position requires travel staffing, call coverage, and weekend rotation; prior Cath Lab experience and current BLS certification are required. Mount Carmel East is the facility, with shifts 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and a total weekly pay of about $3,197.

Qualifications

• Previous Cath Lab Technologist experience required.
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Additional Cath Lab or cardiovascular credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare the procedure room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-prevention standards
• Respond appropriately during urgent and emergent cardiac situations
• Participate in the required call and weekend rotation
