Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC, starting 11/02/2026. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety in a high-paced lab.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications, with preferred state radiologic licensure.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring infection control and procedural protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
