Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in La Crosse, WI. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety and quality of care in a high-pressure environment.

You will scrub, operate imaging equipment, and support physicians during procedures while adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, infection control, and protocols.
• Maintain documentation including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
