Focus Staff seeks a traveling Interventional Radiographer to work with our client in Hagerstown, MD. The role emphasizes vascular and neuroradiology procedures and requires strong clinical skills and patient safety focus.

The position is contract/travel with 13-week duration, 40 hours per week on 10-hour days, and includes a competitive benefits package and licensing reimbursement. Experience required: 2+ years, independent decision-making, and excellent communication with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed in job description.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems and modalities.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at exam time.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
