Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians during procedures while maintaining patient safety.

The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES. You will work with a dedicated clinical team offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, sterile technique, and infection control standards.
• Document patient data, imaging, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of supplies.
