Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, and ensuring safety with imaging and monitoring equipment.

You will join a dedicated clinical team delivering high-quality patient care. Essential qualifications include one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operate imaging equipment.
• Maintain imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment for accurate data collection.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
