Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, and monitoring using specialized imaging equipment.

The position requires one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with preferred radiologic licensure and additional certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.
• Valid radiologic license and CT/IR imaging exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field per protocol.
• Document patient data, imaging, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
