Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. Start date is 07/20/2026 with 40 hours per week, 8-hour days.

Travel employment offers comprehensive benefits and support for licensure and CEUs. The ideal candidate will have one year of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications, with a preference for radiologic technologist licensure.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Certification in BLS (AHA/ARC) is required.
Certification in ARRT/RCES/RCIS is required.
ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cath procedures.
Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring.
Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control protocols.
Assist with sheath removal and hemostasis.
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory.
Follow radiation safety and hospital policies.

Education

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Radiologic Technologist license (preferred)
