Job summary

Bestica is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Macon, Georgia. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Start date is 09/28/2026. This travel position requires 2 years of cath lab experience and applicable certifications (ACLS, BLS, RCIS).

The incumbent will float within the unit and facility as needed, including coverage at Piedmont Macon North Hospital, with call requirements including weekends and some weekdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS.
• Travel assignment in Macon, GA with 12-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac stent placement
• PCI / PTCA
• Left & right heart catheterization
• Recognition and interpretation of life-threatening arrhythmias/dysrhythmias
• EKG lead placement and monitoring
• Scrub/sterile field and room circulator experience
• IABP placement/removal
• Impella insertion
• Temporary pacemaker
• Rotablator atherectomy
• IVC filter placement
• Thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Isolation precautions/PPE and rapid response
